NeuroChain has Second Meeting with the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance

 PARIS, FRANCE, Wednesday, 23 May, 2018 – Last Friday, NeuroChain executives met with Emmanuel Monnet, the economic financial advisor to the French Minister of the Economy and Finance. Friday’s energetic meeting was a continuation of last Tuesday’s fruitful breakfast meeting organized by Bruno Le Maire. “These are not casual meetings,” NeuroChain’s Bruno Delahaye stated in an interview on CryptoJack TV. “They are very constructive.” The NeuroChain team left with several promising insights into the future of ICO policy. During the meeting, NeuroChain and other ICOs discussed how Blockchain can be integrated into existing government processes. If implemented, this would be the first time that Blockchain would be used by the French Government.NeuroChain is also bringing to light issues that effect ICOs and Blockchain companies in France. These companies have a difficult time opening a French corporate bank account. Delahaye points out that these companies have bills to pay as well – there are salaries, suppliers, rent, etc. Bruno Le Marie agreed to look into the issue. NeuroChain hopes that these conversations will help establish better links between banking organizations and companies that specialize in Blockchain. Additionally, the Ministry is considering setting NeuroChain’s KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures as the standard for ICOs. KYC procedures are set in place to confirm the identity of the investors purchasing tokens. These procedures usually include verifying your email address and uploading a government-issued ID or passport. This verification process is in place to preserve the integrity of the ICO. France’s Ministry of the Economy and Finance has expressed their support to integrate Blockchain technology into the French economy. This does not come as a surprise as France has previously supported Blockchain efforts. In December, the French government approved the use of Blockchain technology to exchange unlisted securities. This trading takes out the middleman and makes the transaction more secure. As Blockchain technology is quickly integrating into our everyday lives, we expect that France will continue to be initial launch zone for Blockchain technology and an environment to launch an ICO.
