Catch up on the highlights of the NeuroChain AMA session held last Monday, the 13th Aug.
CEO, Frédéric Goujon and CGO, Bruno Delahaye discussed the Partnership Strategy with the community and how it will help to scale up NeuroChain.
The AMA kicked off with news about new partnerships
We have amazing news. NeuroChain has signed partnership deals with two companies. One is a powerful and inclusive full stack Blockchain-Platform-As-a-Service for enterprises and the other is a very influential Chinese Blockchain Research Center. Stay tuned, the exact details will be revealed in a few weeks time.
The floor was then opened to the community who asked many relevant questions about the project development and the business & marketing strategy.

How is the partnership with the Chinese Blockchain Research Center going?
Currently, NeuroChain’s expertise lies in three areas: logistics & supply chain, taxes & international fiscal exchanges. We have agreed to start working together on a common project: food traceability in China. We will provide specifications on produce coming from Europe, (and globally), throughout the entire process, starting with the production area.
What US partnerships are planned?
Regarding the US, we are involved in active discussions with system integrators and ISV partners. The objective is to create technical partnerships. Being natively integrated in the business app offerings of large cloud providers is fantastic. It will push us to be distributed worldwide. These agreements are being negotiated and will result in the rapid expansion of the nodes development.
How open is NeuroChain?
NeuroChain is an open ecosystem. On top of the protocol there is a data connection hub that creates exchange mechanisms with other blockchains.
We see NeuroChain as being a key agent to connect the world of Private blockchains like a Hyper Ledger with a public one such as Ethereum, Neo or Stellar.
NeuroChain is involved in Government negotiations. What’s coming next?
From the beginning, we have made our relationship with the French government a strength and a differentiator.
Visibility: we are one of the few companies to be quoted in the French government Landau report. At a time when few protocols will survive, because they do not have the legitimacy and long-term vision, having government backing is a vital differentiator.
NeuroChain CEO Frédéric Goujon was received by the Prime Minister’s Innovation Advisor and Billal Chouli, our CTO, pitched to the Senate’s Financial committee to explain the advantages of blockchain for the economy.
The Prime minister has asked 20 questions via the Cap 22 questionnaire and we have been selected to answer 3 of these questions (Fiscal topics, Cash management, Technology).
A couple use case examples where Neurochain will best serve the government within the public sector are:
1. Monitoring of public spending through the blockchain. More details will be provided in September.
2. A Voting Protocol. The purpose of this concept is to investigate the feasibility and opportunity to create an open-source blockchain voting protocol.
Billal and Bruno are part of the advisory team and NeuroChain is in a front line position to become the underlying protocol when ready.
Is there any easy way to explain NeuroChain to investors?
The best way to explain Neurochain is via the business services it will deliver. Once the business partners have deployed their applications, they will make their business services available for their community (for example, AI optimized fraud detection, Machine Learning powered supplier scoring). These applications will be activated thanks to NCC tokens. The growing number of users in these applications will create a natural demand for more tokens. This is how the ROI for investors will be achieved. In addition, those who enrich the system with validated information will receive NCC as a reward for their activity. This will also expand the number of users.
Participants suffered heavy losses as the NCC fell more than 80 percent from the ICO prices. Does the team have any countermeasures?
The market is in a total Bearish situation. Our strategy is to be fully operational for the day when both the market and our development is ready. We cannot control the market of course; our focus right now is on the development and the key partnerships. The price at this point has not benefited from any value factor. It is simply following the market. We are confident that the effort will pay off. The strength of our vision and the optimum use of our development capacity will make the difference.
When will the second distribution be released?
We have prepared a communication dedicated to all private investors. In this communication we will expose the options on lock up management. The result of this consultation will be a decision on the optimum timing to release the July tokens.
No transactions are being made at Sistemkoin. Why are you listed? Just for US citizens?
We are listed on Sistemkoin although this exchange has not been used by investors. This is only due to the market condition where all investors are holding and waiting for a better time to invest. Yes, this exchange is open to US citizens and that is one of the reasons we chose it.
Do you have plans to list on any other exchanges? Or is there an exchange under discussion?
We are ready to list on Idax when we have decided that the time is right. Other exchanges have also been pre-negotiated. There is limited interest to be listed in many exchanges in the current market, a very “wait and see” type of market. There would be no benefit for the market capitalization. When the market picks up again, when we will have added technology component and when the new partnerships develop the overall value of NeuroChain will naturally grow.
When will NCC list on IDAX?
Idax is ready to be listed when we want and other exchanges have also been pre-negotiated. There is limited interest to be listed in many exchanges in the current very pessimistic market. There would be no benefit for the market capitalization.
What is the current situation with HADAX?
Coin volumes are globally down on HADAX simply because of the market conditions. We are not at risk of being delisted. Actions with HUOBI group have been planned.
Which event (Conference, Seminar , Meetup..etc) are you going to attend?
At the end of August we will attend the Singapore Blockchain Summit:
In November : Blockchain Paris 2018
In January 2019 : LAS VEGAS CES Show
We plan to join other events with our partners and are currently discussing the best opportunities.
When will development progress be announced?
We moved to GitLab to facilitate communication with the developer community and to get better development tools. Weekly communication will start from the end of august. Current activities can be seen on GitLab.
What are the outlines of the marketing plan?
1/ New NeuroChain video will be launched in September along with other relevant news.
2/ Multi geography strategy with a strong push in Asia :
HK – Singapore office launch in September
Chinese community exposure in September with AMA for English and Mandarin speaking HUOBI community
3/ Asian partnerships and customers in September and October
4/ Customer pilot names and scope of work in the next three months
5/ First Business App demonstrators will be released with initial partners. This will create videos of the first NeuroChain powered business applications. It will help non specialists to understand how NeuroChain can be used in the real economy. The more these applications will be enriched with data from the relationship with the partners, the clearer it will become, the visibility of the scale NeuroChain can reach.
What are the rapid adaptation capabilities?
Our capacity to adapt is natively embedded in the machine learning and AI layer of the applications. As a result, these evolutions will be brought by the developer community. This the guarantee. We will stay ahead of the curve.
Can NeuroChain describe an aero test case?
NeuroChain can help airlines get full tracking of aircraft parts. It helps this industry from the production stream to the MRO stream:
Production: add trust in the supply chain by integrating an environment of known partners sharing their activities into NeuroChain.
Maintenance: add the capability to integrate and process external data from many sources (users, flight conditions, historic, compliance …). It allows manufacturers and repair centres to review the maintenance plan and to forecast interventions.
Product lifecycle: Track parts in real time, publish or keep private company activities, locate parts all around the world to optimize MRO, old parts gathering and old parts restoration
What roadmap events are coming up?
In September there will be a smart application demonstrator
In October, alpha tests and integration of intelligent applications. As a reminder the Alpha test is just for internal use.
The testnet is planned for the back end of the year to prepare the launch of the Mainnet in January.
